Yesterday it was a special day for many around the world, as it was International Yoga Day and World Music Day. The day has turned out to be quite significant for Yoga and Music enthusiasts to spend valuable time with like minded individuals.
We follow yoga and music as both of them can bring in positive effects for our body making us relax and leave everyday stress behind.
As an academy teaching exclusive sound engineering course, Music is what with which we are closely associated with and we have celebrated it in our campus.
First of all thanks to all the students, faculties and other management staff of the academy who organized a musical extravaganza in the campus at such a short notice.
The whole program started with 1 minute standing ovation remembering those who have contributed their live for the music and an inaugural speech by the CEO.
In the speech CEO has thanked the students and faculties for organizing the function and pointed out the importance of world music day.
Highlight of the program was the scintillating classical Sitar performance by our faculty Sanu Dharan accompanied by Jayadevan (Senior Student of Diploma in Sound Engineering and Sound Recording) on Mridangam. Mastery of Sanu and Jayadevan over the respective instruments was quite evident, the performance ended with a huge round of applause from the students of the academy.
After the performance by Sanu and Jayadevan, students Vishnu M.S and Abhimanyu have rocked the academy with Malayalam Rap Song.
All who were gathered in the academy got thrilled with vocal performance by Sanu followed by another vocal performance by duo Sree Vishnu and Jayadevan.
Finally the whole celebration ended with vocal performance by Nithin and Alish (SEAPro).
