Even though the academy serious in academic studies, we give ample space for extracurricular activities like the music club, celebrating various festivals in the academy and Sports Events.
Yesterday (28th March, 2017), at central stadium, which located in the heart of Trivandrum city had witnessed various sporting events organized by the by the students of the Academy.
Sound Engineering Academy is the first media academy in India to conduct an annual sports day.
This is the second consecutive year we are conducting the annual sports meet with the assured participation from all the students.
The preparation for the sports meet had commenced 3 weeks ago and the league matches of various games was going on since then. The first league matches were held within the college campus as well as in different stadiums in Trivandrum.
Students of 1st semester and 2nd semester has been divided into 3 teams and assigned the names BLUE, RED and BLACK.
Starting at around 9.30 in the morning, the finals of all the games had taken part in the stadium and continued till 6 O’clock in the evening.
The event has come to an end with the prize distribution ceremony by the Assistant Commissioner of Police Shri. K.E BAIJU. Mementos and certificates were distributed by the chief guest to those students who secured the first position in various games.
The ever rolling trophy was awarded to the team Black, captained by Jayadevan of the 2ST SEM batch for securing the maximum points secured various games.
We take this opportunity to thank ACP Shri. K.E Baiju, officials of Kerala State Sports Council and the whole hearted effort of all the staff of the academy and SEA Pro in making this event a big success.
