These are the months in which new students join our academy and a new breed of skilled SEA Certified Professionals pass out of the academy.
A new batch of students joined the Academy here on Thursday and 27th batch of our flagship 1-year Diploma course is off to a good start.
This year hundreds of candidates have applied for the course in the February batch and out of which 30 of them have successfully passed our selection process and joined the career course.
We are taking this opportunity in welcoming new students who have chosen our academy in creating a successful career in the field of Audio Engineering by learning to Craft the Fine Art of Sound.
The batch of students consists of individuals from all parts of India and from almost every district in Kerala.
An introduction to the new study environment was provided to the students who were accompanied by their parents.
During the orientation session conducted by our CEO, AR Vishnu has briefly explained about the History of the Academy, Facilities being offered to students and elaborated what the students will be learning and projects they are supposed to be completed in the coming 1 year.
In the session, CEO has clearly laid out expectations and started the process of the orientation of students toward the kind of effort, learning, performance and classroom behaviors which are expected out of them, and thereby offered tips on how to use their time productively.
Highlighting the main aspects of the course syllabus, CEO has explained what is being expected based on student behaviors like punctuality, seeking help when needed, offering feedback at an appropriate time etc
Communicating the commitment of the academy, faculty & other staff towards maintaining a quality students’ learning experience, CEO has shared some advice for success in the course (e.g., attendance, participation, keeping up with the readings) and let the students knew that the academy is confident in their success as long as the students put in the required effort.
The new students have found the whole session an inspiring one and they were explained about the achievements of SEA Alumni in the field of Live Sound Reinforcement, Music Production, Film Industry and Broadcasting.
After the fore-noon session, a buffet lunch was arranged for the students as well as for those who accompanied them.
After sessions were handled by the faculties in which the students were explained about the basics of audio technology by KS Ravi, Music Production by Chandrasekhar and on Sound Reinforcement by Nivin Sam John and Girish Patro.
Students were assigned various audio related projects by faculties of respective departments which they are supposed to submit on 28th of this month.
We once again welcome all our students who joined the academy and wishing them all the best.
There are many individuals who got in touch with us and were interested to join our academy but was unable to join the February batch. They can now apply for our next batch as admission for our next batch, starting in the month of August is open.
