The board of admissions takes into consideration both academics as well as aptitude for Sound Engineering Studies. SEA will be conducting three levels of screening before your admission
The application for admission should be submitted with all the relevant documents for screening. You will be considered for the Second level screening based on the evaluation of your application form and supporting documents.
This will be the Second level screening over phone. You will be having a telephonic interview and average call duration will be 8 to 12 minutes. The short listed candidates will be either given confirmation of admission or will be called for a personal interview at the campus.
This will be the final level screening before getting enrolled. Students from Kerala should attend the interview at SEA Campus & the students from outside state & international students can attend the interview via video conferencing.

SEA recommends applicants from Kerala to submit their application in hard copy with required documents. Application can be send through courier/speed post or by person.
Applicants from other states & Abroad could submit the soft copy over Email. They should submit the hard copy of the same at the time of admission.
500 word essay or 2 to 4 minute video presentation (uploaded to YouTube) in which you:
Tell us about your background, particularly any experience with sound / music / or the entertainment industry. Share your goals for pursuing a course in Sound Engineering & Sound Recording Discuss your career aspirations; what do you envision for your future in Audio / Related Industry? Describe how a degree from SEA will help you to achieve your personal, professional and creative goals.

Select song (Indian/Western or Film/Non Film) of your choice. Try to identify the different instruments used in the recording, time signature & if possible try to explain the mixing technique(s) used. Your finings should not exceed 200 words. For uncommon tracks, please provide web link or CD.
